HANDCRAFTED LUXURY PARTNERS WITH LEGENDARY PERFORMER

INTRODUCING SAETTA, YESTERDAY'S BOAT OF TOMORROW

Who knew that a casual conversation that took place four years ago between Bill Scheunemann of Precision Aero Marine and Kevin Kimball of Jim Kimball Enterprises, Inc. would result into what we are revealing today. The latest Indma
r powered creation to hit the water, Saetta Classic Boats. The dynamic team used their mutual passion for classic style wooden boats combined with their aircraft design, manufacturing skills and equipment to build a “retro modern” wooden boat with the convenience of a modern ski boat.

Saetta is a true rare beauty; the result of handcrafted luxury with a timeless, classic design. Thanks to Saetta, yesterday’s beautiful classic, handcrafted wooden boats are available in the 21st century. The design has a presence that looks to be cut from the same cloth as the original classic wooden boats, yet it’s underpinned by the latest technology and unrivalled engineering.

The exterior features a Classic Barrel back style that offers a modern touch and wooden structural design with ply sub skin followed by mahogany planking. It’s the perfect blend of visual pleasure and smart design. Mirco Pecorari of Italy designed the special mix of natural and stained mahogany and the added inlay of white maple.

The sculpted exterior compliments the breathtaking interior design enhancements. From the waterfall console that carries the wooden deck to the floor and back up to the transom to the hidden stereo/CD system that integrates seamlessly behind the door in the waterfall. Mirco Pecorari of Italy also designed the instrument cluster which was also made in Italy. The convenience of storage is evident throughout the retro modern design. Storage space is available under the floor, inside of all seats and inside of the passenger’s dash.

The Seatta has achieved the perfect combination of cutting edge functionally and classic stylish design. Technological advances deliver the ultimate boating experience. In addition, this 20-foot boat delivers easy handling and smooth turning - even in choppy conditions. The Saetta handles remarkably. Like a sports car. Rough water is not a problem thanks to Marine Architect Eric Sponberg who designed the hull bottom to provide a superior ride and handling. Rack and Pinion steering controls and OJ Props underwater gear provides one finger steering at all speeds and conditions. This rare beauty can also make turns on a dime. All of this coupled with Indmar’s 5.7L V8 EFI EXT CAT with an electronic throttle and shift make this boat a true driving experience!

The truly unique part about a Saetta Classic Boat is that future owners can purchase a kit to build the boat or purchase a fully finished and tested Saetta Classic Boat. The kit build process is very straight forward and can be built with common hand and wood working tools. The boat can be built in a typical American household garage. Build time from a kit is approximately 1000 hours depending on the experience of the builder.

The Saetta’s fascinating must see interior design combi
ned with its aerodynamic, classic exterior with on demand delivery performance has created quite a demand. Tom’s 3rd, the prototype for Saetta Classic Boats made its first public outing at the Sunnyland Antique Boat Festival in Tavares, FLA and is scheduled to be a featured display at the Sun-N-Fun Flyin Convention in Lakeland, FLA April 13th – 18th. Experience this rare beauty for yourself. You can also visit http://www.saettaboats.com/ to learn more about ordering both the Kit and the Luxury Edition Saetta.

Soon, an online store will provide a means for or
dering kits, components and complete boats. In the meantime, contact Jim Kimball Enterprises, Inc. (407) 889-3451.
